There’s a Remix site going up tomorrow for Reckoner here>>
To start things off we asked James Holden and Diplo to do their versions.
Now the elements are already being passed around to other artists..
The elements of the song are soon going to be made available to you if you wanna have a go..
If it’s anything like the Nude remix site it could get fairly nuts.
We’re off to Japan at the weekend.

I woke up to an e-mail, (…) It was after I had a dream that me and Thom Yorke were at a grocery store together, and I woke up to that shortly after.
“It’s weird, him and I. We were born on the same day and we keep having these strange but really positive meetings. Now we’ve done this song on my record and I only wonder what’s going to happen next.

His collaboration with Yorke was conducted via e-mail. He sent the music to Yorke, with little expectation of getting a response. A couple of days later he received an e-mail with Yorke’s vocal. “I was doing cartwheels around the house,” Ellison remembers. Yorke – “my astral brother,” in Lotus-speak – subsequently asked Ellison to support his side-project “Atoms for Peace” in a concert tour in the US earlier this month. “Cartwheels, man, more cartwheels.”
I might make a contribution or two to the next Thom Yorke album,… Maybe do a remix or something. We’ll see. I don’t want to jump the gun or anything but I think it’s going to keep going.
Et de fait, Thom chante sur “…And The World Laughs With You”

Indy : He was also on your last album. Are there any more collaborations like that in the works ?

FL : Not that I know of. They wanted me to remix the new Radiohead record, and I’ve been trying to mess with that a little bit. But I haven’t gotten to it yet.

Indy : Tell us what that’ll sound like when you’re done with it ?

FL : It’s too early to say, man. I have no fucking clue. It’s difficult to work with, because the pieces that they gave me, there’s no real a cappella. It’s like piano and voice at the same time.

Indy : So you can’t separate them.

FL : No, I can’t. So I have to come up with some shit that’s a little similar to the record, I guess, to an extent.

I like it when he gets into that spooky pocket. People are like, that doesn’t sound like Thom, make it sound more like Thom – but I’m like, it’s my album.
I definitely respect what he’s up to, … But the biggest surprise to me in getting to know him is that he’s a funny guy. He’s the jokey one.

The thing about Thom is that he knows what he likes and I love that about him, … He knows when things work and they don’t. He doesn’t bulls**t in that way. He spends his time wisely. I wish I could say that about a lot more people.
Of reports that he was due to remix tracks from Radiohead’s last album The King of Limbs, he added: “I was into the idea until they got everybody to make remixes. “When it became ‘a thing’, I was like, ‘Nah, I’m cool’. Let other people do it.”
