On trouve une première référence à la chanson en 2000 (eh oui déjà), par Thom lui-même sur le message board du site officiel. Il vient de relire la biographie de Mingus et des idées lui parcourent la tête, des paroles comme “eyes of a mountain goat”/”bad smell” :
