St. Helens est une école privée pour filles d’Oxford. En 1988 (la date précise est inconnue) un concert va y être organisé.

Toutes les jeunes groupes scolaires vont y être accueillis, en particulier ceux créés au sein des institutions, dont l’école privée pour garçon d’Abingdon. En tête d’affiche ce soir là : “Skag and the Gynacologists“, en première partie “On A Friday” et “The Illiterate Hands“.

C’est Nigel Powell, batteur au sein de “The Illiterate Hands“, et qui a enregistré des démo pour TIH et OAF qui en parle un peu sur la page d’archives du site “Unbelievable Truth” :
