Nas returns to Open’er this year with his 11th (!) studio album, “Life Is Good”. Released last July, the record stirred much interest with a song featuring the late Amy Winehouse. Remember the over two-hour performance by Nas and Damian Marley at Open’er 2010, we already know this will be a highlight of the current edition.
Junip will come to Gdynia from Sweden. Fuzzy, psychedelic songs and Gonzalez’s soft voice are its highlights. The follow-up, an eponymous album, was released three weeks ago, and Junip are still doing a great job in exploring folktronica and layers of melancholy in Gonzalez’s singing.
Another exceptional moment at Open’er ’13 is the return of a legend! The first hip-hop phenomenon on the Polish scene Kaliber 44 will appear at Open’er with original members AbraDab, Joka and Dj Feel-X. The concert will be even more outstanding with session musicians and special guests, including Gutek, a great singer and friend of K44.
Also joing the Open’er line-up are: Vavamuffin, Ras Luta, Novika, Oszibarack, Fox, Rebeka, Magnificent Muttley, The &, Peter J. Birch and Drekoty.
